Learn Our Weekly ASL Come, Follow Me Scripture - James 1:5 - Nov 13-19

Our family has a little morning devotional every day and we recently started printing off a scripture from Come, Follow Me with ASL word hints to help the kids memorize the English and ASL version. 

I think this is a tradition that will stick and we decided to share this week's scripture with you all! How to sign James 1:5:

Super Jesse's Theme Song

Jesse is four years old today! His latest obsession is superheroes and he is a superhero in our family, running around and solving problems. When it comes out that my husband is deaf, I'm usually the first person people have met with a deaf husband. Here are some of the most common questions/reactions and the answers: 1. Does that mean you know sign language? When I first got asked this question I was surprised. My husband is deaf, of course I know sign language! However, I have since realized that some hearing/deaf couples really can talk to each other, lip read or use a mix of ASL and speaking.
